DocuSearch turns documents (PDFs, scans, images) into a searchable knowledge base. Upload your files, our OCR extracts the text, and you chat with the content using AI, all with EU-only data processing.

All data is hosted on Microsoft Azure France Central, with backups geo-replicated within the EU (France South). No data leaves the European Union. The OCR and chat AI run on Mistral AI (a French company), so even the inference happens in the EU.

Yes. Documents are encrypted at rest, third-party OAuth tokens (Dropbox) are encrypted with Fernet, and your saved chat conversations stay private to your account; you can delete them anytime. Your files are private by default, and nobody else can see them unless you explicitly share a folder or move them into a team workspace. We never use your documents to train any AI model.

PDFs, Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx, .xls), PowerPoint (.pptx), and images: PNG, JPG, JPEG, WEBP, BMP, TIFF, HEIC, HEIF. Plain text and CSV are also accepted.

Our OCR averages 99.2% accuracy across our internal test set, including tough scans, handwritten notes, and multi-language documents. Each processed page returns its own confidence score so you can flag low-confidence pages for review.

35+ languages including English, French, Greek, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Mixed-language documents work; the OCR detects script per region.

Yes. Every new account gets 20 free OCR pages and 10 AI chat queries to evaluate the product. No credit card is required to sign up.

Yes. Subscriptions can be cancelled from Account → Billing. You'll keep access to your plan's features until the end of the current billing period, then revert to the free tier; your data isn't deleted.

In My Storage, right-click the folder and choose Share, then enter your teammate's email and pick viewer or editor access. They need an existing DocuSearch account, since the invite goes to a registered address. Sharing is included on every plan, including the free trial. On a Business plan you can share a folder with an entire team workspace at once, so every member gets access automatically.

Yes. Every processed document can be exported as PDF, Word (.docx), or plain text (.txt). Tables, headings, and inline formatting are preserved. Original page images are kept too, so you can reference them after editing.

Account → Data & Privacy → Delete account. Deleting starts a 30-day recovery window: billing stops immediately and you're signed out, but your data is kept so you can restore everything by logging back in. After 30 days it is erased permanently, including files, embeddings, usage records, and personal data, and it then ages out of our offsite backups within a further 30 days. If you signed up with Google, you confirm by an emailed link instead of your password.
