DocuSearch turns documents (PDFs, scans, images) into a searchable knowledge base. Upload your files, our OCR extracts the text, and you chat with the content using AI, all with EU-only data processing.

All data is hosted on Microsoft Azure France Central, with backups geo-replicated within the EU (France South). No data leaves the European Union. The OCR and chat AI run on Mistral AI (a French company), so even the inference happens in the EU.

Yes. Documents are encrypted at rest, third-party OAuth tokens (Dropbox) are encrypted with Fernet, and your saved chat conversations stay private to your account; you can delete them anytime. Only your account can access your files. We never use your documents to train any AI model.

PDFs, Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx, .xls), PowerPoint (.pptx), and images: PNG, JPG, JPEG, WEBP, BMP, TIFF, HEIC, HEIF. Plain text and CSV are also accepted.

Our OCR averages 99.2% accuracy across our internal test set, including tough scans, handwritten notes, and multi-language documents. Each processed page returns its own confidence score so you can flag low-confidence pages for review.

35+ languages including English, French, Greek, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Mixed-language documents work; the OCR detects script per region.

Yes. Every new account gets 20 free OCR pages and 10 AI chat queries to evaluate the product. No credit card is required to sign up.

Yes. Subscriptions can be cancelled from Account → Subscription. You'll keep access to your plan's features until the end of the current billing period, then revert to the free tier; your data isn't deleted.

Open the folder you want to share and click the share icon. Enter your teammate's email and choose viewer or editor permission. They'll need a DocuSearch account to access shared content. Available on Pro plans and above.

Yes. Every processed document can be exported as Markdown, PDF, Word (.docx), or PowerPoint (.pptx). Tables, headings, and inline formatting are preserved. Original page images are kept too, so you can reference them after editing.

Account → Delete account. We immediately delete every uploaded file, embedding, usage record, and personal data field. Confirmed deletion happens within seconds; the data also ages out of our offsite backups within 30 days.
